Q. What sort of roles do you recruit for?
We specialise in Business & Professional Services and Tech & Digital roles, ranging from early careers right through to senior leadership. Opportunities span industries across Australia, the US, UK, and Southeast Asia.

We recruit for roles across a variety of industries. Our clients include tech start ups, creative agencies, nonprofits, e-commerce, FMCG and more...
Q. What’s the hiring process like?
It generally begins with you submit an application. But we may also reach out to you directly if you have the skills we’re hiring for. We will review your application and if you meet the criteria, we'll reach out for an initial conversation. From here, you may be invited to a series of interviews which could take place online or in-person. There may also be an assessment or testing to complete - we'll ensure you’re prepared and know what to expect. The final stage of a process is where we will ask you to supply referee information so that we can complete reference checks and other background checks ahead of you potentially receiving a job offer.
Q. Do you provide interview prep?
Absolutely! We offer insights into the hiring company, interview tips, and strategies on how to best showcase your skills and experience. We’re here to support you throughout a recruitment process so if you have any questions, feel free to reach out.
Q. Will I get feedback after interviews?
We understand the importance of feedback and commit to sharing insights to help you with applications and interviews in future.
Q. What’s your DE&I policy?
We prioritise DE&I by focusing on skills-based hiring and ensuring diverse talent pools in every hiring process. Our ATS (applicant tracking system) also allows us to anonymise applications to help remove any risk of bias. There are always new ways to foster inclusive hiring practices and embrace opportunities to enhance diversity and belonging, and we never stop learning. From briefing to sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding, we partner with you to ensure a seamless hiring experience. We also work closely with your hiring teams to ensure they feel empowered to facilitate a positive, fair and engaging candidate experience.
Q. What does your fee structure look like?
We offer 2 recruitment models that are both flexible and cost effective and our pricing is tailored to the role type/s and recruitment volume:
Talent Search - a fixed fee based recruitment solution which is based on role seniority, not on salary, so there’s no nasty surprises.
Talent Team - a retainer fee based on the level of support you require for Charlotte to manage all of your recruitment activities as your embedded Talent Team.
Both of our models allow our clients to access on-demand expert recruitment support from seasoned recruiters (with both agency and in-house experience). Contact us to discuss our various pricing options, including retained and contingent recruitment fees.

We partner closely with the hiring team so that candidates we recommend to you are presented with confidence.

Yes, we have talent pools of people available for short-term roles - both contractors and temps.

Yes. We are a team of recruitment specialists and have years of experience in headhunting and managing confidential searches. We work closely with our clients to define the ideal persona and skillset required and using our recruitment tools, we target both job seekers and passive candidates to ensure the right people are identified. We respect confidentiality and handle discreet searches with the highest level of professionalism. We use non-disclosure agreements and work closely with your team to manage sensitive information securely.
Q. How do you tailor your approach for each client?
Our Talent team works closely with each client to understand their unique culture, values, and team dynamics, ensuring that the recruitment strategy aligns with your goals and we represent your brand authentically. No two businesses are the same, so we look after each client with an individualised approach.
Q. How do you support hiring managers throughout a recruitment process?
We have regular WIP meetings and provide regular updates, we share candidate insights, and support on interview best practices to help hiring managers make informed decisions. Throughout every hiring process we provide coaching to hiring teams to ensure they feel well supported and can continue to develop their own recruitment skills.

Q. Does We Are Charlotte offer any support after a hire is made?
Yes, we support onboarding, check-ins at key milestones, and any additional support your new hire may need to ensure a successful transition. We will work closely with your People team which may well be the We Are Charlotte People Advisory team!
Q. What happens if a hire doesn’t work out?
We offer a three-month replacement guarantee for performance-related issues.
